Not every MMA story ends with a championship belt.
Sometimes it ends with a set of keys, a construction site, and a dream that takes months of dust, late nights, and concrete to bring to life.
That is exactly the journey Mun Ho Park (also commonly spelled Moon Ho Park) has been sharing with fans throughout 2026.
The Korean MMA personality, who exploded in popularity through Zombie Trip, officially celebrated the grand opening of Munho Fight Club in Dongtan, South Korea this July after documenting nearly every step of the gym’s construction on social media.
For fans who have followed Park since his Zombie Trip days, the opening feels less like a business announcement and more like the next chapter of a story they have been watching unfold in real time.
From Reality Show Star to MMA Mentor

Mun Ho Park became one of the breakout personalities of Zombie Trip, earning fans with his entertaining personality and willingness to test himself against challengers.
His influence reached beyond the show itself.
HanPunch previously covered Park’s connection to Se Hoon Choi, better known as the “Yangsan Madman,” whose appearance on Zombie: The Fight helped launch one of Korean MMA’s fastest-rising prospects. We also covered the playful challenge issued by Choi toward Park after his rapid rise through the regional MMA scene.
Now Park is taking on a very different challenge.
Instead of preparing for another fight, he has spent much of the past several months building a home for future fighters.
Building a Gym From the Ground Up

Followers of Park’s Instagram have watched the project evolve since its announcement in April.
Rather than simply unveiling a finished facility, Park shared the entire process, posting updates from inside an unfinished basement space as workers transformed it into what would become Munho Fight Club.
The videos showed construction materials, unfinished walls, equipment arriving piece by piece, and the countless hours required before the doors could finally open.
It is the type of behind-the-scenes content that gym owners rarely show, giving fans a realistic look at just how much work goes into creating a martial arts academy before the first class is ever taught.
A Premium MMA Facility in Dongtan
Munho Fight Club officially opened in July 2026 at:
B1, Pungsan Richian Tower
263 Dongtan Sunhwan-daero
Hwaseong (Dongtan), South Korea
The gym markets itself as a premium MMA facility featuring an underground-inspired atmosphere while welcoming everyone from complete beginners to experienced competitors.
According to the club, classes are open to:
- Complete beginners with no martial arts experience
- Men and women of all ages
- Experienced athletes looking for high-level MMA instruction
Before opening, the club held a second Early Bird membership promotion beginning on June 15, offering:
- 10 percent discounted memberships
- Exclusive membership card and merchandise
- Entry into a raffle for the “Joseung Munho” combat-themed prize box
The promotion served as the final opportunity for supporters to join before the official grand opening.
More Than Just Another Gym
Opening an MMA gym has become a common career move for retired fighters and veterans of the sport.
What makes Munho Fight Club feel different is how public the journey has been.
Fans did not simply wake up one morning to discover Park owned a gym.
They watched the empty space become a training facility. They watched the setbacks, the progress, and the excitement as the opening day grew closer.
That transparency has created something many new gyms struggle to build from day one: a community that already feels invested before ever stepping onto the mats.
For Korean MMA fans, Mun Ho Park’s story has evolved from reality television personality to mentor, entrepreneur, and gym owner. Whether Munho Fight Club eventually develops the next generation of Korean fighters remains to be seen, but Park has already accomplished something meaningful by creating a place where that journey can begin.
As Mun Ho Park begins this new chapter as a gym owner, we wish him nothing but success with Munho Fight Club. Building a gym from the ground up is never easy, and the dedication he shared throughout the process deserves respect.
Of course, we’ll admit we’re still waiting for one more thing.
Se Hoon Choi’s challenge is still hanging in the air.
Whether it happens inside the cage, on a mat, or simply as another memorable moment between two of Korean MMA’s biggest personalities, we’d love to see Mun Ho Park finally answer the “Yangsan Madman.” Until then, we wish him the very best in this new venture and look forward to seeing both his gym and his next chapter continue to grow.
