Our Mission
Why HanPunch exists
Some of the most important stories in combat sports are happening outside the sport’s largest international promotions.
Across South Korea and the rest of Asia, fighters are developing their careers, regional promotions are building new platforms, and gyms are creating competitive teams with their own histories and identities. Many of these stories receive limited or inconsistent English-language coverage.
HanPunch was created to help close that gap through clear reporting, researched fighter profiles, event coverage, interviews, and analysis that gives readers a better understanding of the people and organizations behind Asian combat sports.
