The partnership will bring InBody’s industry-leading body composition technology to Black Combat’s official weigh-ins while introducing new data-driven tools to improve athlete safety and performance.
Black Combat, one of South Korea’s fastest-growing mixed martial arts (MMA) promotions, has announced an official sponsorship agreement with InBody, the world-renowned body composition analysis company.
The partnership goes beyond a traditional sponsorship, as Black-Combat will integrate InBody’s industry-leading body composition technology into its events. With a database of more than 200 million body composition records, InBody will bring advanced scientific data and precision measurement to one of the most weight-sensitive sports in the world.

Founded in 1996, InBody pioneered direct segmental body composition analysis and multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance technology, helping shape the global body composition analysis market. The company now operates 14 overseas subsidiaries (13 sales offices and one manufacturing facility) and conducts business in more than 110 countries worldwide.
Known for making “InBody testing” synonymous with body composition analysis, the company has expanded its influence beyond healthcare and fitness into professional sports. Through this collaboration, InBody will provide advanced scientific data management solutions to professional MMA.
Under the new sponsorship agreement, all official Black-Combat weigh-ins will be conducted using InBody’s state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
Because weigh-ins are one of the most critical aspects of combat sports, ensuring both fairness and fighter safety, InBody will support Black Combat’s official weigh-in events by delivering an environment capable of measuring athletes with less than 100 grams of margin for error.
The promotion also plans to use InBody’s precision analysis tools to scientifically monitor athletes’ physical condition—including muscle mass, body fat percentage, and hydration levels—from the early stages of fight preparation. Black Combat believes this data-driven approach will improve athlete safety while raising the overall quality of competition.
The two organizations also announced plans to release an official Black Combat × InBody collaboration product line. Combining Black-Combat’s modern brand identity with InBody’s healthcare expertise, the collaboration will feature products designed to help athletes maximize training performance and intelligently track changes in body composition. Additional details will be revealed through Black Combat’s official YouTube channel and social media platforms.
Black Combat through their Instagram post stated:
“We are honored to partner with InBody, a company recognized worldwide for its industry-leading body composition technology. Just as the battles inside the cage are important, the weigh-in and conditioning systems outside the cage are equally vital. Together with InBody, we will continue to modernize those systems to world-class standards and further establish Black Combat as a global MMA brand that both athletes and fans can trust.”
With this partnership, Black-Combat continues to invest not only in entertaining fight cards but also in the infrastructure that supports professional mixed martial arts. By incorporating InBody’s industry-leading technology into its weigh-in and athlete monitoring processes, the promotion is taking another step toward raising professional standards while reinforcing its ambition of becoming a globally recognized MMA organization.
