MOB Training Center

Founded in 2014, MOB Training Center (Mind Over Body Training Center, 팀 MOB) is one of Seoul’s premier mixed martial arts academies, located in the Gangnam district. Originally developed around the philosophy of combining functional fitness with combat sports, the gym has grown into a respected professional MMA team while continuing to offer boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, strength and conditioning, and fitness programs for athletes of every experience level.
The “Mind Over Body” philosophy emphasizes intelligent, technical training over brute force. Fighters are encouraged to develop complete skill sets through disciplined instruction, structured conditioning, and continuous technical refinement. This approach has helped Team MOB establish itself as one of South Korea’s most recognizable independent MMA academies.
Today, MOB Training Center regularly develops athletes who compete in organizations including the UFC, ROAD FC, Black Combat, Angel’s Fighting Championship (AFC), Double G FC, and numerous amateur competitions, making it one of the country’s more consistent producers of professional talent.

Former UFC women’s flyweight Ji Yeon “Fire Fist” Kim is part of the coaching staff and plays an important role in striking development and athlete mentorship. Her years competing against the world’s best female fighters provide valuable experience for both amateur and professional athletes training at MOB.

Former professional fighter Do Gun “Shotgun” Son assists with daily MMA instruction, helping athletes improve wrestling transitions, grappling, and overall fight preparation.
