High School Emperor Season 4 ASIA brought together the next generation of amateur mixed martial arts talent from South Korea, China, Mongolia, and Team Asia for the promotion’s first international four-nation tournament.
The event featured a unique 4 vs. 4 team elimination (“Death Match”) format, where winning fighters remained in the cage to face the next opponent until one team’s entire lineup was eliminated.
South Korea captured the inaugural ASIA championship by defeating China 4-2, led by an outstanding performance from Han Dong Hoon, who won three consecutive bouts to complete the comeback and secure the title for his team.
The event also included a third-place match between Mongolia and Team Asia, four featured rematches from the High School Emperor Season 4 preliminary rounds, live entertainment, and commentary from UFC welterweight Seok Hyeon Ko alongside Chan Woo Choi.
Originally created to identify and develop South Korea’s top high school MMA prospects, High School Emperor continues to expand its reach by providing young athletes with international competition and a pathway toward professional mixed martial arts. Season 4 ASIA represented the organization’s largest event to date and highlighted many of the region’s most promising future stars.
