Top FC 22 (TFC 22) delivered an action-packed night of mixed martial arts, headlined by the highly anticipated return of former UFC heavyweight Da Woon Jung. However, the home favorite was unable to secure a victory, as France’s Michael Groguhe earned a dramatic third-round TKO to cap off an entertaining evening of fights.
The event featured several standout finishes throughout both the main card and preliminary card, with six of the eight bouts ending inside the distance.
Da Woon Jung Falls in Main Event Return

Making one of the biggest appearances of the event, former UFC heavyweight Da Woon Jung stepped into the cage representing Korean Top Team against France’s Michael Groguhe of Tiger Muay Thai.
The opening two rounds were competitive, with both heavyweights exchanging strikes and looking for opportunities to take control. Jung showed flashes of the durability and composure that made him a recognizable name during his UFC tenure, but Groguhe steadily increased his pressure as the fight progressed.
In the third round, Groguhe found the opening he had been searching for. After landing clean strikes that visibly hurt Jung, the French heavyweight followed with relentless ground-and-pound, forcing the referee to stop the contest at 3:32 of Round 3.
The victory marks an important international win for Groguhe, while Jung will look to regroup following his return to competition outside the UFC.
Finishes Highlight Main Card
The co-main event also ended emphatically as Min Jae Lee defeated Igor Kim via second-round TKO. After a competitive opening frame, Lee took over in the second round, securing the stoppage through ground-and-pound at 2:58.
Heavyweight prospect Sun Woo Kim continued to build momentum by stopping Uzbekistan’s Khusniddin in the opening round. Kim overwhelmed his opponent with powerful striking before earning a referee stoppage following sustained ground-and-pound at 3:51.
In the bantamweight division, Tae Joon Cho turned in one of the night’s most complete performances, earning a unanimous decision over Yeong Jun Park. All three judges scored the contest 30-27, giving Cho a clean sweep on the scorecards.
Another impressive performance came from Geun Ho Son, who needed just 1:14 of the opening round to finish Uzbekistan’s Nadir Dosimbetov. Representing Korean Top Team, Son quickly capitalized on an early exchange before finishing the fight with strikes on the ground.
Submission Wins and Late Finish Round Out Card
The preliminary card featured another fast finish as Jae Young Kim submitted Uzbekistan’s Shuratjon Tohirjonov with a rear-naked choke just 1:53 into the opening round.
Bantamweights Sung Guk Bae and Tae Young Min battled into the third round before Bae secured a TKO victory at 2:21, adding another stoppage to a finish-heavy event.
