Black Combat Rise 09 took over Black Agora in Osan this past weekend, and the event delivered everything fans expected from Korea’s most chaotic fight promotion. The weigh in alone set the tone. Brazilians and Koreans clashed verbally, stared each other down, and pushed the tension to the edge. By the time the fighters stepped into the cage, the atmosphere was already electric.
The weigh in began with Stone Golem and Grenade, both making weight without issue, but the energy shifted quickly once Pirate King and Monk stepped up. The crowd sensed the rivalry between the Korean and Brazilian fighters, and the tension only grew as Black Mamba and Samurai faced off. The real spark came when Gladiator and Sloth met on stage. Gladiator pushed first, Sloth snapped back, and the two exchanged heated words. Gladiator promised to drink Sloth’s blood. Sloth promised to humble him. It was the kind of moment that defines Black Combat.
Savage and Chestnut kept the intensity high, and Deadshot and Cyborg added their own edge. But the loudest exchange came from the main event fighters. Captain Hero and Fight Dog turned their weigh in into a generational war. Captain Hero mocked older fans and dismissed Fight Dog as outdated. Fight Dog fired back with veteran confidence, reminding everyone that wrestling decides fights and that experience still matters. Their back and forth became one of the most talked about moments of the entire Rise 09 build.
When fight night arrived, the cage settled everything.

Fight Dog delivered the biggest win of the night by defeating Captain Hero by unanimous decision. The veteran proved that experience, pressure, and grit can still break through youthful confidence. Captain Hero entered undefeated, but Fight Dog reminded him that the Agora stage is built on hard lessons.
General Thumb scored a major victory over Gentleman, the Brazilian UFL champion Fabricio Azevedo. Thumb’s pressure and composure earned him a unanimous decision and a surge of momentum in the middleweight division.
Deadshot continued his violent run by stopping Cyborg with a TKO. The Russian finisher lived up to his reputation, overwhelming Cyborg with power and precision.
Savage delivered one of the most emotional wins of the night by defeating Albam by TKO. Their rivalry had been building for months, and Savage finally got the statement he wanted.
Gladiator backed up every word from the weigh in by defeating Sloth by unanimous decision. His aggression, pace, and confidence carried him through the fight, proving that his intensity is more than just theatrics.
Samurai added another win for Brazil by defeating Black Mamba in a competitive bout. His striking and composure earned him a unanimous decision.
Pirate King secured a strong victory over Monk, giving Korea another win against a Brazilian opponent. His pace and pressure were too much for Monk to overcome.

Stone Golem closed the night with a victory over Grenade, adding another chapter to their long running rivalry.
Rise 09 was everything Black Combat promised. Heated weigh ins. National pride. Personal grudges. And a fight card filled with decisive performances. The Brazilians came to challenge Korea on its home turf, and the Koreans answered with heart, technique, and emotion.
Black Combat continues to build a world where every fighter feels like a character, every rivalry feels personal, and every event feels alive. Rise 09 was another step forward for the promotion, and fans are already waiting for the next chapter.
