AFC (Angel’s Fighting Championship) is set to make Korean combat‑sports history this fall after signing a major partnership with Inje Speedium, transforming the iconic motorsports complex into the stage for AFC 43, the promotion’s 10th‑anniversary event.
The MOU was finalized between Inje Speedium CEO Jung min Lee and AFC CEO Ho Joon Park, with several notable Korean fighters in attendance, including former AFC champions Jae young Kim, Do hyun Kim, Seok Hyeon Ko, and Sang Uk Kim.
A First in Combat‑Sports History
AFC 43 will be the world’s first MMA event held inside an internationally certified public racing circuit, marking a bold expansion of combat‑sports presentation in Korea. Traditionally known for motorsports, Inje Speedium is now positioning itself as a multi‑purpose cultural and sports venue, with AFC 43 serving as its largest non‑motorsports event to date.
A Massive Live Audience Expected
Organizers are preparing for an estimated 20,000 to 30,000 spectators, leveraging the venue’s open‑air structure and large‑scale layout to create an atmosphere unlike any previous AFC event. The unique environment is expected to deliver a hybrid festival‑style experience, blending MMA, entertainment, and motorsports culture.
AFC’s Biggest Stage Yet
Celebrating a decade since its founding, AFC aims to elevate its brand with a landmark event that showcases Korean MMA on a grand scale. The partnership with Inje Speedium signals AFC’s ambition to innovate and expand beyond traditional arenas, offering fans a new way to experience live combat sports.
AFC 43 is scheduled for October 9, with additional fight announcements expected in the coming months.
