DOMVS returns Saturday with five fights from its Apgujeong arena, including an open-finger boxing showdown between two familiar names from ROAD FC.
DOMVS continues its weekly fight schedule on Saturday, August 15, with DOMVS 21 from the DOMVS Arena in Apgujeong, Seoul.
The five-fight card begins at 8:00 p.m. KST and features four MMA bouts alongside a -95 kg catchweight boxing matchup between Dae Sung Kim and Dong Hwan Lim.
For viewers outside the arena, DOMVS 21 will stream through the promotion’s official YouTube channel, @DOMVS_Official, with access requiring a DOMVS channel membership.
While DOMVS has established a unique position in the Korean combat sports scene by holding events every Saturday, this week’s card brings an especially interesting matchup to the smaller weekly format.
Two experienced ROAD FC names are trading MMA gloves for an open-finger boxing fight.
Dae Sung Kim Meets Dong Hwan Lim
Dae Sung Kim will face former ROAD FC interim middleweight champion Dong Hwan Lim in a -95 kg catchweight boxing bout contested under open-finger rules.
Kim, representing Gwangju Team Crows, has developed a reputation through his ROAD FC appearances for producing action-heavy fights. DOMVS is promoting the matchup as a meeting between two fighters well suited for the kind of straightforward striking battle the ruleset encourages.
Across from him will be Dong Hwan Lim of STRONG MMA.

Known by his Korean nickname “Steel Fist” (강철뭉치), Lim brings the credentials of a former ROAD FC interim middleweight champion into the matchup.
The appeal of the fight comes from seeing two established MMA fighters removed from much of the sport’s usual tactical equation.
There will be no wrestling exchanges or extended grappling sequences to dictate where the fight takes place. Instead, Kim and Lim will be asked to settle the matchup through their hands.
And with open-finger gloves added to the equation, the fight retains some of the visual and physical character familiar to MMA while operating under boxing rules.
For DOMVS, it gives the August 15 card a matchup that stands apart from its four MMA fights.
Eun Soo Lee and Hyun Jin Jang Meet at 86 kg
The final bout listed on the announced card features Eun Soo Lee of Ssabi MMA against Hyun Jin Jang of Red Hook Multi Gym in an -86 kg catchweight MMA contest.
The heavier matchup joins Kim vs. Lim in giving DOMVS 21 considerable size at the top of the card before the event moves through three lighter MMA contests.
At -67 kg, Young Bo Shim of Dae Hwan Kim MMA faces Jae Won Hwang of Stay Boxing & MMA.
The -58 kg catchweight division will feature Geon Hee Cha of ROAD FC Incheon Nonhyeon against Won Park of Team Red Fox.
Opening the announced lineup is a lightweight MMA bout between Yoon Seok Lee of Team Finish Bae Dong Hyun Gym and Seung Heon Yoo of Team K-Top.

DOMVS Continues Its Weekly Fight Model
DOMVS has taken a different approach from the traditional Korean MMA event schedule.
Rather than building exclusively around occasional large-scale cards, the promotion operates from its own DOMVS Arena and stages fights every Saturday.
That frequency creates opportunities for Korean fighters and gyms to compete in a setting that sits somewhere between the regional development circuit and the country’s larger MMA stages.
DOMVS 21 demonstrates another advantage of that format.
The promotion can experiment.
Putting two veteran ROAD FC middleweights into an open-finger boxing contest would be an unusual addition to a conventional MMA card. Within the DOMVS format, it becomes the centerpiece of a five-fight Saturday night event.
And Kim and Lim are particularly interesting choices for it.
Both have already spent considerable time competing under MMA rules. On August 15, neither will have the option of changing levels or taking the fight to the ground.
DOMVS is asking them to stand in front of each other and fight.
For a card the promotion has billed around determining the night’s “real men” (상남자들), Dae Sung Kim vs. Dong Hwan Lim certainly fits the assignment.
DOMVS 21 takes place Saturday, August 15, 2026, beginning at 8:00 p.m. KST. The event will be available through the DOMVS Official YouTube channel for channel members. Hanpunch will be following the event, you can find event details and results on the DOMVS 21 event page.
