Team The King
Team The King Gym (TEAM THE KING) is one of Jeju Island’s premier mixed martial arts academies, offering comprehensive training in MMA, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and wrestling.
With locations in both Jeju City’s headquarters and its Nohyeong branch, the gym has established itself as a leading destination for athletes pursuing amateur and professional competition while remaining accessible to beginners, fitness enthusiasts, and children.
As an official ROAD FC Official Gym and a member of the Korea Kickboxing Association, Team The King combines professional fight preparation with community-focused martial arts education. The gym is known for being one of the few facilities on Jeju Island equipped with a full-sized competition cage, allowing members to train in an environment that closely replicates professional MMA competition.
Beyond competitive training, Team The King offers structured youth programs, adult fitness classes, spinning sessions, and personalized coaching, making it a well-rounded martial arts academy for students of all experience levels.
Team The King has become one of the strongest MMA training environments on Jeju Island by combining experienced professional coaches, modern facilities, and official recognition from both Road FC and the Korea Kickboxing Association. The presence of a regulation competition cage, multiple active professional fighters on the coaching staff, and programs ranging from youth classes to professional fight preparation make the gym attractive to athletes at every level.
While mainland gyms in Seoul and Busan often receive greater national attention, Team The King has established itself as a key hub for developing combat sports talent in Jeju. Its continued connection to Road FC and experienced coaching staff positions the academy as one of the island’s most respected MMA organizations.

Team History
Team The King was established with the goal of bringing professional-level mixed martial arts training to Jeju Island, an area that has traditionally had fewer elite MMA facilities than mainland Korea.
The gym expanded by opening its Nohyeong Branch, creating a modern training center equipped with one of Jeju’s first full-sized MMA competition cages. This investment helped distinguish Team The King as one of the island’s most advanced combat sports facilities.
Over time, the academy has developed strong relationships with Road FC, earning recognition as an official Road FC Gym while continuing to produce and support athletes competing in Korean professional MMA.
The addition of experienced professional fighters such as Tae Young Yoon, Ji Yong Yang, and Kyung Jin Ko has further strengthened the gym’s reputation as a destination for serious competitors while maintaining programs designed for beginners, children, and recreational members.
Today, Team The King continues to serve as one of Jeju’s leading martial arts academies, balancing competitive excellence with community participation and athlete development.
