Zeus FC’s rapidly expanding grappling brand, Zeus Jiu‑Jitsu Professional (ZJP), has officially announced the next installment of its qualifying series: ZJP Qualifying GI 02, set to take place on June 7, 2026, in Seoul. The event serves as a pathway for rising competitors to earn a coveted spot in ZJP 03, the promotion’s upcoming professional main card.
The qualifier will be held at Paraestra Seoul, located on the second floor of Yuseong Shopping Center in Nowon‑gu. Matches begin at 10:00 AM, with weigh‑ins scheduled from 9:00 to 9:50 AM on the day of competition. Registration is open until May 29 at 24:00, with an entry fee of ₩50,000.
ZJP continues to position itself as one of Korea’s most ambitious attempts to professionalize jiu‑jitsu, offering structured opportunities for athletes to advance into paid, broadcast‑ready events. The GI 02 qualifier will feature tournament‑style brackets across select Gi divisions:
Men’s Gi (Blue/Purple)
- -76 kg
- +76 kg
Women’s Gi (Blue/Purple)
- -55 kg
- +55 kg
The stakes are significant: the division winners and a wildcard selection will advance to ZJP 03, joining the league’s growing roster of professional grapplers. Prize money will also be awarded to podium finishers, with ₩300,000 for first place, ₩200,000 for second, and ₩100,000 for third. If a bracket has fewer than eight competitors, payouts will be issued at 50% of the listed amounts.
All matches will follow IBJJF‑standard Blue/Purple rules, with 5‑minute rounds scored by submission and points. Competitors must wear their own Gi, and weigh‑ins will be conducted in full uniform, including belt. A maximum 300g allowance is permitted; exceeding the limit results in disqualification.
Registration is available through the official Zeus FC website at www.zeusfc.co.kr.
As ZJP continues to build momentum following its inaugural events, the Seoul qualifier represents another step in Zeus FC’s broader mission to establish a sustainable, athlete‑focused professional jiu‑jitsu league in South Korea. With competitive brackets, prize incentives, and a clear pathway to the main stage, ZJP Qualifying GI 02 is expected to draw strong participation from gyms across the capital region.
