Amil Tutić is entering the most significant fight of his young career with a growing reputation around Balkan MMA.
The 21 year old Bosnian will return to action September 5 at BRAVE CF 108, where he will face undefeated Croatian fighter Ivan Kiš in a three round super welterweight bout at the historic Pula Arena in Croatia.
The fight is not the main event, but it could become an important moment in Tutić’s development. He already has a professional record of 2 and 1, and his recent performances have convinced BRAVE CF to sign him to an exclusive multi fight contract. Now, one of the region’s most respected combat sports figures has identified him as a potential future star. Miran “Slo Rocky” Fabjan believes Tutić could eventually become one of the leading names in Balkan MMA.
“Amil Tutić, probably. He has that feeling… He has something about him,” Fabjan said.
That endorsement has raised the expectations around Tutić, but the young fighter still has plenty to prove.
Amil Tutić Has Built His Game Across Multiple Disciplines
Tutić’s development has not been limited to one area of combat sports. The Bosnian prospect comes from a kickboxing background, having competed in point fighting and low kick under the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations. He later expanded his training to include Brazilian jiu jitsu and judo based grappling. That combination gives Tutić the foundation to operate in different phases of an MMA fight.
His striking experience provides the base for his stand up game, while his grappling development gives him additional options when opponents attempt to close distance or take the fight to the canvas.
BRAVE CF specifically highlighted that evolution when announcing his exclusive contract, describing his skill set as layered and unpredictable. At 21, the biggest question is not whether Tutić has developed enough skills to compete at this level. It is how quickly he can turn those individual skills into a complete MMA game against increasingly experienced opponents.
His First BRAVE CF Fight Did Not Go His Way
Amil Tutić’s path with BRAVE CF began with a difficult test. He made his promotional debut against Slovenian fighter David Forster at BRAVE CF 102 in November 2025. The fight went the distance, with Forster taking a unanimous decision.
For a young fighter entering a major international promotion, the defeat could have slowed his momentum. Instead, Tutić got another opportunity against the same opponent.
The rematch came at BRAVE CF 106 on June 6, 2026, with the two meeting at a 77.5 kilogram catchweight. Their first fight had been competitive, and the second encounter again produced three rounds of action. This time, Tutić earned the unanimous decision. The victory was arguably the most important result of his career so far.
It showed that Tutić could make adjustments after losing to an opponent and successfully solve the same problem in a second meeting. More importantly, it helped convince BRAVE CF that he was worth investing in.
BRAVE CF Has Put Its Trust Behind Him
Following the victory over Forster, BRAVE CF signed Tutić to an exclusive multi fight contract. BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid praised the young fighter’s development, pointing specifically to his resilience, adaptability and desire to compete at a higher level.
For Tutić, the contract represents more than another opportunity to fight. It gives him a long term platform to develop against increasingly difficult opposition while remaining within a promotion that has built an international roster of fighters from a wide range of countries. Tutić also made clear what the opportunity means to him.
“Competing on this platform means everything to me,” Tutić said after signing with BRAVE CF.
He now has the chance to turn that opportunity into sustained momentum.
Ivan Kiš Presents a Different Challenge
The next obstacle is Ivan Kiš. The Croatian enters BRAVE CF 108 undefeated at 2 and 0. Unlike Tutić, Kiš has yet to experience a professional defeat, and both of his victories have demonstrated finishing ability. Sherdog lists a first round knockout victory over Danijel Banić and a first round submission win over Matija Kemenović.
That makes the matchup particularly interesting. Tutić has already shown that he can win a three round decision and that he can recover from a professional defeat. Kiš has shown that he can end fights before the judges become involved.
The Croatian will also compete on home soil at Pula Arena. That creates another layer to the matchup, with Tutić traveling from Bosnia and Herzegovina to face an undefeated Croatian opponent in front of a local audience.
Fabjan’s Prediction Adds Another Layer
Fabjan’s endorsement is perhaps the most intriguing part of the story. The veteran has competed extensively in both kickboxing and MMA and has firsthand experience with Tutić. According to BRAVE CF, Fabjan has shared the mats with the young Bosnian, meaning his assessment comes from actually seeing Tutić work rather than simply watching his professional record.
Fabjan did not point to Tutić’s record or list a specific technical attribute when making his prediction. Instead, he referred to something he felt the fighter possessed.
“He has something about him.”
That kind of assessment is difficult to quantify, but it is often what separates an interesting prospect from a fighter who eventually develops into a major name. Tutić now has the opportunity to show whether Fabjan’s prediction has substance.
BRAVE CF 108 Could Be Another Step in His Rise
Tutić’s professional record is still small. With only three professional fights, it would be premature to describe him as an established contender or guarantee that he will become the next major Balkan MMA star.
But there is a clear progression. He suffered his first professional defeat against Forster, returned to beat him in their rematch, earned a BRAVE CF contract and now faces an undefeated opponent at BRAVE CF 108.
A win over Kiš would give Tutić his third consecutive professional victory and strengthen his position within BRAVE CF’s developing European talent pool. It would also give him something even more valuable at this stage of his career: momentum. The next chapter begins September 5.
