Zeus FC CEO Si Young Park showed his playful side by challenging Hyoung Joon Kwon before Sang Un Han stepped in with an unforgettable interruption.
Fight week is usually filled with tense staredowns and heated exchanges, but Zeus FC 10 Media Day delivered one of its funniest moments when promoter and CEO Si Young Park jokingly challenged fighter Hyoung Joon Kwon, better known as “Trench.”
The exchange quickly became one of the highlights of the promotion’s second Media Day video released on June 21, showcasing the relaxed atmosphere and personalities that continue to distinguish Zeus FC from many regional MMA promotions.
“I’m the One Who’ll Beat You”

The conversation began when Park unexpectedly called everyone’s attention.
“Everyone, pay attention. I’m the one who’s going to beat him.”
The room immediately burst into laughter.
Rather than brushing the comment aside, Trench leaned into the joke.
“Are you serious, CEO?”
Park answered without hesitation.
“Completely serious.”
Not missing a beat, Trench accepted the challenge.
“Alright then.”
Park doubled down.
“Let’s find out who’s the king among the fighters born in 1989.”
Boxing vs. Jiu-Jitsu
The playful exchange soon turned into lighthearted trash talk.
Trench explained that, from his experience, many jiu-jitsu practitioners lack a complete understanding of striking and wrestling. He also mentioned watching one of Park’s previous bouts against Viper and warned that things would not be easy for the Zeus FC CEO.
Park responded by reminding everyone of his own combat sports background.
“I’m from an elite boxing background.”
The two even compared their walking-around weights, with Park revealing he normally weighs 71 kilograms, while Trench said he typically walks around in the mid-70 kilogram range.
Wolf Crashes the Conversation

Before the friendly rivalry could continue, Sang Un Han, also known as “Wolf,” interrupted the exchange.
Looking directly at Trench, Wolf confidently declared:
“After you fight me, you won’t even be able to put gloves on.”
When Trench jokingly reminded Wolf that he was in the middle of talking with the CEO, Wolf delivered the line that brought the room to laughter.
“You’re never going to get the chance to fight our CEO.”
The implication was simple: Wolf planned on beating Trench first, ending any possibility of the CEO’s dream matchup ever happening.
Park laughed before responding:
“Thanks for saving me.”
More Than Just a Press Conference
While the exchange was entirely tongue-in-cheek, it highlighted one of the unique aspects of Zeus FC.
Rather than remaining behind the scenes, CEO Si Young Park actively interacts with his fighters, jokes with them on stage, and isn’t afraid to become part of the entertainment himself. The chemistry between Park, Trench, and Wolf gave fans a glimpse into the personalities behind the promotion while building anticipation for Zeus FC 10.
As Korean MMA continues to grow, moments like these help separate Zeus FC from traditional regional promotions by giving fans more than just fight announcements, they provide personalities, storylines, and memorable interactions long before fight night arrives.
